CAMINO NATURAL DEL EMBALSE DE LANUZA

Time: 45 min - 1 hour to the dam (2 hours if we return to Sallent)
Downhill: 70 m

This nature trail, which forms part of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food's Network of Nature Trails, runs along the old paths on the right bank of the Lanuza reservoir, linking the town of Sallent de Gállego with the Lanuza dam. The route, which is just over 3 km long, runs through birch, beech and gall oak trees, and along the way there are various benches and picnic areas where you can rest and enjoy the impressive landscape, with the Foratata rock in the background as the main feature, as well as views of the villages of Lanuza and Sallent.

When we reach the dam, we can join the asphalted road that returns to Sallent de Gállego passing through the old village of Lanuza.

The route is suitable for all walkers who want to enjoy a beautiful panoramic view and discover the Lanuza reservoir and its surroundings through a comfortable and pleasant walk.
